B52’s…
Beleaguered in my mission by the double-doored, multi-leveled design
of my pantry, the purging process has a multi-dimensionality to it that makes
this no easy task. As the saying goes, it’s a dirty job but someone’s gotta do
it. Employing the right strategy is key.
Two bottles of Bacardi Gold
lingered on the kitchen bench, still in their World of Travel shopping bag, I had to stash them. Opening the
pantry, I looked down to the bottom shelf at an assortment of bottles so
chock-a-block that the pantry doors would no longer close all the way. The
legacy mainly of unfinished duty-free purchases & limited time ‘on
special’s at the wine shop down the road, there was clearly no room for
anything else. Something had to be done, & quickly.
Three large bottles loomed at the forefront, culprits each one. Purging
them from the pantry would give me just the space necessary to house the
bottles cluttering up the kitchen bench.
